EU proposes discussing separate gas payments for Naftogaz Ukrainy, Donbas - commissioner
The European Commission proposes discussing the possibility of separate accounts for Russian gas deliveries to Naftogaz Ukrainy and Donbas, European Commissioner for Energy Union Maros Sefcovic said at a briefing in Brussels.
Sefcovic said he was receiving contradictory information from both sides concerning deliveries to the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. He said one question concerns supplies to the two regions and another separating the payments for the two.
"This is my proposal, he said. This is what we can propose to both sides," he said.
