Petrol sales at fuel stations down by 34.1% in Jan - statistics
Retail petrol sales at fuel filling stations in Ukraine (excluding occupied Crimea) in January 2015 fell by 34.1% compared to January 2014, to 138,100 tonnes, according to the State Statistics Service.
At the same time, retail sales of diesel fuel at fuel stations in January fell by 22.1%, to 100,900 tonnes, compressed gas - by 28.4%, to 6,000 tonnes. Sales of liquefied natural gas increased by 3.4%, to 32,300 tonnes.
A-95 petrol accounted for 54.2% of the petrol sold last month; the share of A-92 petrol was 45.5%, A-80 - 0.1%, and A-98 - 0.2%.
According to the State Statistics Service, the total cost of petrol sold at fuel stations in January was UAH 3.098 billion (the share was 54.8%), diesel fuel – UAH 1.995 billion (35.3%), liquefied natural gas - UAH 465.3 million (8.2%), compressed gas - UAH 93 million (1.7%).
