Ukraine from Feb 20 plans to increase gas supplies from Hungary by 500,000 cubic meters a day
Ukraine from February 20 plans to increase supplies of natural gas from Hungary from current 5 million cubic meters to 5.5 million cubic meters a day, Ukrtransgaz Spokesman Maksym Beliavsky has told Interfax-Ukraine.
"According to the latest update, from tomorrow the increase in supplies by 500,000 cubic meters in this direction is expected," he said.
He said that as of noon Thursday around 4.8-5 million cubic meters of gas comes every day to Ukraine from Hungary.
According to the Hungarian gas transport operator FGSZ, after the resumption of supplies to Ukraine from January 10, 2015 the largest daily volume sent to Ukraine was 5.07 million cubic meters – on February 14 and February 15.
