The dollar and euro fell on the Moscow Exchange at the start of trading on Friday, the ruble rose amid positive sentiment on capital markets and thanks to agreements being reached with regard to Ukraine at talks in Minsk.
The dollar traded at 64.7 rubles/$1 after the first minute or so, which is 57 kopecks lower than the previous closing and 1.4 rubles lower than the official rate.
The euro began the day at 74.02 ruble/EUR1 which is 44 kopecks lower than previous closing and 81 kopecks lower than the official rate.
The bi-currency basket ($0.55 and EUR0.45) fell 51 kopecks to 68.89 rubles in value.
