Banks ready to provide up to UAH 12 bln for agroleasing, says ministry

Agricultural Policy and Food Minister Oleksandr Pavlenko met the top managers of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) and the top ten banks crediting the agricultural sector on February 11.

"The bankers said the following: the banking system has liquidity… They discussed how to give this liquidity to business. They discussed issues linked to the elements of collateral and the reduction of the collateral coefficient," Pavlenko told reporters on the results of the meeting.

Many banks have financing tools, he said. Some banks are ready to provide up to UAH 12 billion for agroleasing.
