Poroshenko orders Kramatorsk shelling victims be compensated
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has ordered the Cabinet of Ministers pay compensation to people who were injured and to the families of those killed after militants shelled Kramatorsk, Donetsk region on Tuesday.
"I'm asking today the government at its sitting to take a decision to allocate means [of compensation] to the families of persons killed and to those injured in Kramatorsk," the president said, during the extended meeting of the government on Wednesday.
As reported, 16 military personnel and civilians were killed and 65 were injured as a result of the Kramatorsk shelling on February 10.
