Naftogaz Ukrainy pays $107 mln for February; could receive 715 mln cu m

Gazprom has received $107.144 million from Naftogaz Ukrainy in payment for gas deliveries in February, a Gazprom spokesman told journalists.

Given the prepayments Gazprom has received and the gas that has been delivered to Ukraine, the money is sufficient for future delivery of about 715 million cubic meters of gas.

Gazprom's official spokesperson, Sergei Kupriyanov, told Interfax that the contract price for Q1 for Naftogaz amounts to $329 per 1,000 cubic meters (with account of Brussels, at $100 per 1,000 cubic meters). He said that the real price for the period will be different with account of the adjustments for heating capacity and other technical factors.

In Q4 2014 the price was $378.
