Yatseniuk instructs profile agencies to prepare for Emergencies Service request for food supply

Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has instructed the relevant profile authorities to prepare for a request from the State Emergencies Service, concerning the supply of food.

"The State Reserve, the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food and PJSC Agrarian Fund have been instructed to immediately accept applications from the State Emergencies Service for food, and check what we have in warehouses and elevators," he said at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting in Kyiv.

Yatseniuk also instructed the Ministry of Finance to allocate additional funds from the reserve fund to the Emergencies Service and the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food, and if necessary through the Agrarian Fund, primarily for grain and flour.
