Canada to impose new sanctions against Russia – intl trade minister
Canada will impose new sanctions on Russia, Canadian International Trade Minister Edward Fast said.
Canada has decided to take additional measures against Russia in connection with the tragedy in Mariupol, Fast told a briefing in Kyiv on Monday, adding that it will be done in cooperation with Canada's allies: the U.S. and EU countries.
Canada will do everything needed to help Ukraine return to peaceful life and become a prospering country, he said.
