Investors promise to invest $1 bln in Ukrainian economy - Poroshenko
International investors have promised to invest $1 billion in the Ukrainian economy, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said at session "The future of Ukraine" at the World Economic Forum in Davos (Switzerland).
"We want to build up together with our partners and advisers an absolutely new form of investment climate in Ukraine. We have the opportunity to meet here with potential investors. I have the guarantee and thank these investors, who promised me to invest $600 million in Ukraine, $400 million in the Ukrainian economy," Poroshenko said, while pointing at a representative of Vimpelcom, sitting in the front row of the hall, as one of the potential investors in Ukraine.
