Pivdenmash plans to fulfil orders for UAH 2.5 bln in 2015
Pivdenny Machine Building Plant (Dnipropetrovsk), to ensure the stable operation of the company in 2015, plans to load its production capacity with orders for UAH 2.5 billion.
"The approximate load of the enterprise in 2015, required for stable operations, including the repayment of overdue wages and the timely payment of current wages, is estimated at UAH 2.5 billion," the plant's press service told Interfax-Ukraine.
"The volume of contracts signed at the plant for 2015 at present is estimated at UAH 980 million, additional orders worth UAH 1.5 billion are needed," a company official said.
Among the orders currently being considered by the plant for 2015 is a draft state defense order for UAH 730 million, the resumption in the third and fourth quarters of the year of producing the first stage of the Antares carrier rocket for US-based Orbital Science, and work as part of the Cyclone-4 project with Brazil. The plant is also preparing a contract for the supply of tractors, in particular to Tajikistan.
