Ruble gains slightly against dollar, euro
The ruble is gaining slightly against the dollar and euro in early trading on the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX) on Tuesday.
The dollar traded at 64.98 rubles/$1 after the first three minutes, 4 kopecks below yesterday's closing but 1 above the official rate for today.
The euro began the day at 75.17 rubles/EUR1, 23 kopecks below yesterday's closing and level with the official rate.
The bi-currency basket ($0.55 and EUR0.45) started the day at 69.57 rubles, down 12 kopecks from yesterday's closing value.
