A mere 11.9% of local budgets for 2015 approved – Finance Ministry

The number of approved local budgets from January 12 to January 16 grew to 1,405 from 356 budgets, therefore their share increased to 11.9% from 3% of all local budgets, the Finance Ministry reported on Friday.

In particular, the ministry reported about the approval of 10 out 24 regional budgets, 66 out of 170 municipal budgets of regional subordinance, and 33 out of 268 municipal budgets of district subordinance.

"A total of 197 out of 669 local budgets with direct interbudget connections with the national budget have been approved, which was 29.4%. All budgets in Kyiv region have been passed," the ministry said.

As was reported, the national budget for 2015 was passed on December 29 and published on December 31, 2014.
