Premier hopes tax decentralization will increase local budgets by up to UAH 40 bln
Tax decentralization will allow local government agencies to increase local budgets by up to UAH 40 billion, Ukraine's Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.
"The government has given a 'fishing rod' to local agencies; however, they will have to realize all the possibilities related to taxation by themselves... The innovations will help to bring an additional UAH 40 billion," Yatseniuk said during a teleconference with regional authorities on decentralization issues, which was held in Kyiv on Tuesday.
