Ostchem, Russia's Gazprombank settle payment of $842.5 mln debt
Dmytro Firtash's Оstchem holding has finished negotiations with Russia's Gazprombank on settling a disputed debt worth $842.5 million, the press service of Оstchem has reported.
"All disputable issues have been settled, constructive dialog between the two partners – borrower and the bank – has been finished. Gazprombank understands the difficult situation is linked to events in Ukraine. Mutually beneficial decisions have been made, the details of which will not be disclosed. Оstchem is thankful to Gazprombank for its trust and the possibility of further cooperation," the press service said, citing Оstchem First Deputy Director General Oleh Kikta.
Оstchem said that the structure of shareholders of the holding had not changed after the negotiations.
Оstchem is ready to fully observe contract liabilities to Ukrainian and international customers.
As reported, Gazprombank demanded that Оstchem pay back credit worth $842.5 million.
