Yatseniuk: IMF mission arrives in Ukraine, begins technical consultations
A mission from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has arrived in Ukraine and started technical consultations as part of Ukraine's cooperation with the fund on the stand-by program, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.
"The program of cooperation with the IMF is extremely important to Ukraine. The IMF [mission] has arrived in Ukraine, and technical consultations have begun. It will be difficult, as always, and that's fine. That's why all ministries should actively begin consultations with our partners, with the IMF, because all macro-financial assistance is linked to our program of cooperation with the fund," he said, while opening a government meeting on Friday.
