The International Monetary Fund mission to Ukraine began its work on Thursday, a government source has told Interfax-Ukraine.
The mission is to complete its work in Ukraine by the end of January 2015.
As reported, Ukrainian Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko announced late in December 2014 that the IMF mission was to visit Ukraine in January 2015, to discuss the volume of the next tranche to be released, under the Stand-By Arrangement between Ukraine and the IMF.
