Energoatom fails to raise CZK 322.6 mln credit line
State-run NJSC Energoatom announces that a tender to raise a credit line worth CZK 322.621 million has been ruled null and void.
Fewer than two bids were submitted for the tender, the company announced in the Visnyk Derzhavnykh Zakupivel state procurements bulletin.
As was reported, Energoatom planned to borrow credits for five years, and the funds to be raised were to be sent to finance supplies of equipment of the reactor control and safety system to increase safety of reactor two of Zaporizhia nuclear power plant (NPP).
As reported, earlier Energoatom raised loans from Czech Export Bank to finance purchase of Skoda equipment for its NPPs.
Energoatom is the operator of all four operating nuclear power plants in Ukraine. It operates 15 power units equipped with water-cooled power reactors with a total installed electrical capacity of 13.835 GWh.
