Russia will soon cease to be Ukraine's major trading partner – Yatseniuk
Ukrainian Premier Arseniy Yatseniuk has said that the Russian Federation will soon cease to be Ukraine’s major trading partner.
"We have seen a double fall in trade volume with Russia. This has become a tendency, this is not the first time, and in fact, at the earliest possible date Russia will cease to be Ukraine's major trading partner," the premier said, whilst discussing the results of the final press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.
Yatseniuk noted that the Russian Federation "has never abided and doesn't abide by any bilateral agreement, including in the economic sector as well."
