Real estate tax won't be levied on flats under 60 sq m, private houses under 120 sq m - Yatseniuk
The majority coalition in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and the government, have agreed on a minimum threshold for charging real estate tax.
" The proposal made by the coalition of factions was backed, and we are set ting the minimum thresholds for imposing real estate tax. The tax will not be levied on apartments with an area of less than 60 square meters, and private houses with an area of less than 120 square meters," Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseny Yatseniuk said while speaking in Parliament on December 28.
