Poroshenko, Nazarbayev agree to resume work of intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation
Ukraine and Kazakhstan will resume the work of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said.
"We consider it absolutely unacceptable when our trade has shrunk by more than 30% over the past two years. We agreed that the activity of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation would be resumed and that the key areas of our cooperation would have new and serious support," Poroshenko said after talks with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev in Kyiv on Monday.
