US imposes new sanctions on Ukrainian and Russian individuals
The U.S. Department of the Treasury on Saturday published a list of 24 citizens of Russia and Ukraine, as well as organizations, against whom new U.S. sanctions have been introduced.
Among them are Crimean Prosecutor Natalya Poklonskaya, heads of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics Igor Plotnitsky, Alexander Zakharchenko and Oleh Tsariov. In addition, the list includes Konstantin Malofeyev's Marshall Capital fund and he personally, the Night Wolves biker organization, as well as a number of militia commanders.
According to the Treasury Department, they were denied entry to the United States, and their assets could be blocked. In addition, it is prohibited to do any business with them.
