Industrial production in Ukraine in November down by 16.3% - statistics
Kyiv, December 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Industrial production in Ukraine in November 2014 decreased by 16.3%, which corresponds to the October figure, whereas in September the rate was 16.6%, in August - 21.4%, the State Statistics Service has reported.
According to its data, in Donetsk region industrial production fell by 51.3% (in October - by 55.7%, in September - by 59.5%, in August - 58.7%). In Luhansk region it collapsed by 82% (in October - 80%, in August-September - 85%), although figures for both regions can be specified.
The service notes that in the first 11 months of 2014 the decline in production in Ukraine as a whole accelerated to 10.1% from 9.4% in the ten months, 8.6% - nine months, 7.8% - eight months, and 5.8%- the first seven months.
In January-November 2013 the reduction of industrial production was 4.7%.
In November compared to October this year industrial production decreased by 2.2%.
As reported, the fall in industrial production in Ukraine in 2013 was 4.7% compared to 0.5% in 2012.
