Siemens Concern opens regional office in Lviv

Germany's Siemens AG Concern has opened a new regional office Siemens Ukraine, which will design software for medical equipment made by the concern.

In addition, the office will coordinate supplies and servicing of products of the Industry Automation department and realize transport and infrastructure projects.

The regional office will have a training center.

Siemens Ukraine branch was opened in Lviv in 2004.

In the nearest plans of Siemens Ukraine is the establishment of cooperation with the Lviv Electron Concern on production of trams, trolleybuses and electric buses and the realization of a project on servicing of the whole rolling stock.

The concern plans to realize a project on the introduction of the electronic ticket system for city transport in Lviv.
