Ukraine counts on international partners aid for reforms – PM
Ukraine is counting on financial assistance from its international partners to implement reforms, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.
"We expect that we will get financial assistance for our reform agenda... A successful Ukraine is a task not only for Ukraine itself but also for the whole world, because we confront a nuclear state which is armed to the teeth," he said at a press conference after a meeting of the Ukraine-EU Association Council in Brussels on Monday.
Yatseniuk said that the government will do its best to support the economic and financial system of Ukraine. The premier expressed his confidence that 2016 will be a year of stability and economic growth.
The prime minister said that at the meeting of the council, they discussed implementing the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, ways to conduct quick and efficient reform in Ukraine, and EU financial assistance to Ukraine.
