Court extends reorganization of Sumykhimprom for six months

The Economic Court of Sumy region has extended for six months the reorganization of PJSC Sumykhimprom, according to the Ilyashev and Partners law firm, with reference to the senior partner of the firm, the manager of Sumykhimprom's property, Roman Marchenko.

Thus, the court satisfied the joint petition of the creditors' committee, the plant and the arbitration manager.

According to him, the court took into account that during bankruptcy proceedings no production assets were sold. Positive results of reorganization were also recorded: more than 4,500 employees are paid wages, which are 25% higher than the average one in Sumy region, without delay.

In addition, for the period of reorganization more than UAH 100 million was used in capital investment, UAH 140 million - for repairs. Taxes and fees exceeding UAH 300 million were paid to the budgets of all levels and social funds.
