State will refund VAT during exports of agricultural products only to producers, says Yatseniuk
Only producers can receive value added tax (VAT) refunding during exports of agricultural products, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.
"Despite the difficult discussion, we leave VAT benefits for the agricultural industry. I say in public that VAT refunding during exports will be only for agricultural producers. We don't have funds in the budget to feed traders," he said, speaking in the parliament on Thursday.
The premier added that foreign creditors of Ukraine demand that agriculture is switched to the general taxation system.
