Ukrainian government plans to further capitalize state banks, cut cash turnover in shadows
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine plans to further capitalize state banks in its action program.
"Capitalization of state banks… the reduction of the share of cash in the shadows," reads the program posted on the government's website.
According to the document, the adoption of the legal acts on the removing cash turnover from the shadows by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) jointly with the State Fiscal Service is foreseen in the first quarter of 2015.
