Quality of South African coal confirmed by Incolab certificates, says Ukrinterenergo
Coal from South Africa, bought by the Ukrinterenergo state enterprise, has been confirmed as good quality, according to experts form the Ukrainian State Research Coal Chemical Institute, and has been awarded certificates from Incolab international laboratory, the press service of Ukrinterenergo has announced, referring to the head of the commercial department Leona Avizhenis.
"The coal is fully in line with the specification of Ukrainian plants, and Ukrinterenergo did not receive any complaints regarding the quality of the coal. The proper quality is confirmed by quality certificates issued by Incolab and Ukrainian State Research Coal Chemical Institute," the press service stated, citing Avizhenis.
Ukrinterenergo also confirmed information released by Steel Mont that the price of coal under the CIF conditions was $86 per tonne, and that after the change of delivery conditions to CPT (delivery to Trypilska and Zmiyivska thermal power plants), the price rose to $107-100 per tonne.
