Temporary administrator at Bank Zolori Vorota, Bank Standard sign agreement on transfer of some assets and liabilities of insolvent bank
The temporary administrator at Bank Zoloti Vorota (Kharkiv) on November 28, 2014 signed an agreement with Bank Standard (Kyiv) on a transfer of some assets and liabilities of Bank Zoloti Vorota to Bank Standard, the Individuals' Deposit Guarantee Fund has said on its website.
Under the agreement, Bank Standard has acquired all rights and liabilities of the debtor to depositors to return funds and accrued interest rates under banking account/deposit agreements within the guaranteed sum of UAH 200,000. Bank Standard received credits of companies and individuals, including collaterals, apart from currency-pegged mortgage credits of individuals.
Bank Zoloti Vorota was founded in 1993. Its largest shareholders on July 1, 2014 were Yakiv Kuznetsov (19.1502%), Vadym Vyshnevsky (12.1852%), and Yevhen Cherniak (10.0654%).
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, on October 1, 2014, the bank ranked 139th (UAH 418.425 million) in total assets among the 173 banks operating in Ukraine.
