Ukraine's Ministry of Economic Development and Trade by the end of 2014 will submit to the parliament 16 bills, the adoption of which will enable the country to raise $500 million of financial aid from the World Bank.
"We plan to launch the reform of state-owned enterprises management by the end of the year. We will submit 16 laws to the Verkhovna Rada that will allow to obtain $500 million of budget support from the World Bank," the newly appointed Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Aivaras Abromavicius said at a briefing in Kyiv.
According to him, the entire investment aid for Ukraine is delayed due to the parliament's failure to adopt the mentioned 16 bills.
