Ukrzaliznytsia falls short of over UAH 150 mln of compensation for transportation of passengers with benefits by suburban trains
Ukrainian railways in January-October 2014 transported passengers with benefits worth UAH 269 million and obtained compensation of UAH 119 million from regional administrations or 44.4% of the required sum.
The press service of Ukrzaliznytsia said that Pivdenno-Zakhidna railways fell short of UAH 59.8 million. Pivdenno-Zakhidna railways transported passengers with benefits worth UAH 84.6 million and obtained only 29.3% of compensation).
Pivdenna railways expects that UAH 33.4 million will be compensated (37.5% has been compensated), Lviv railways carried passengers with benefits worth UAH 54,7 million and fell short of UAH 24.8 million (54.6% was compensated). Payments to Donetsk railways came to 49.3%, while the railways transported passengers with benefits worth UAH 14.2 million.
Odesa railways obtained 62.8% of compensation. The railways carried passengers with benefits worth UAH 23.1 million.
