Ukraine imports 946.3 mcm of gas from Europe in November – Ukrtransgaz
Ukraine in November 2014 imported 946.3 million cubic meters (mcm) of natural gas from Europe, which was 6.1% up on October 2014 (892.2 mcm), PJSC Ukrtransgaz's press service told Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday.
Ukraine got 884.4 mcm from Slovakia and 61.9 mcm from Poland last month, the company said.
Gas from Hungary was not imported, as gas shipments from that country were suspended on September 26.
In general, Ukraine imported over 4 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas from Europe January through November 2014.
As was reported, Ukraine in 2013 imported 2.132 bcm of natural gas from Europe.
Ukraine's State Statistics Service reported that Ukraine imported natural gas from Europe at an average price of $360.9 per 1,000 cubic meters in August 2014, $360.2 per 1,000 cubic meters in July, $366.9 per 1,000 cubic meters in June, $364.7 per 1,000 cubic meters in May, and $375.8 per 1,000 cubic meters.
