Gas contract with Statoil more advantageous than with Gazprom – Yatseniuk
The conditions of a contract on gas supplies signed between NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy and Norwegian Statoil are more advantageous than agreements with Russia's Gazprom, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said in Kyiv on Thursday.
"These conditions are much more acceptable than those with Russian Gazprom… You should understand that any terms of a commercial contract are confidential. < > We cannot disclose the conditions," he said.
As was reported, Naftogaz on October 1 started getting natural gas under a contract with Norwegian-based Statoil.
