Astarta posts EUR 21.5 mln in net loss in 9 months
Astarta, a large Ukrainian agribusiness, posted EUR 21.48 million in net loss in January-September 2014, whereas it was in the black in the same period last year with net profit estimated at EUR 82.4 million.
The company's consolidated revenues in the nine months grew by 7%, to almost EUR 279 million, the company announced in a report on the website of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Astarta's gross profit expanded by 1%, to EUR 116 million, EBITDA stood at EUR 101.6 million against EUR 103 million in January-September 2013.
Its cash flow from operations grew by 67%, to EUR 81 million.
Revenues from exports in the nine months of 2014 accounted for 20% of total sales.
