The Ukrainian government has appointed Director of the Department of Pension Provision and Social Security of Disabled Persons Mykola Shambir as first deputy head of the State Pension Fund and temporarily entrusted him with fulfilling the duties of the fund's head.
The Cabinet of Ministers passed respective resolutions on October 16 and posted them on its Web site on Monday.
Shambir, born in 1966, a native of Rivne region, graduated from Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University and has been working in social security agencies since 1985.
