State defense order could be changed, it is to be financed, says president
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said that the Defense Ministry is to actively work on changing the state defense order if the situation requires.
"If there is a need, the additional proposals to the state defense order for Ukroboronprom should be presented. The consultations at the European level have passed now. Tomorrow the top managers of Ukroboronprom will return from the United States, and after the visits I'd like to ask to agree [the defense order] and make changes. I've gave the relevant order to the government," he said on Wednesday, presenting the new defense minister of Ukraine.
Poroshenko said that the national budget for 2015 is being drawn up now.
"The state defense order is to be financed in full using budget funds of 2015," he said.
