Oettinger proposes to hold trilateral gas talks in Berlin on Oct 21
A trilateral gas meeting of the European Union, Russia and Ukraine may take place in Berlin on October 21, a European Commission spokesman told Interfax on Thursday.
European Commission Vice-President, Energy Commissioner Gunther Oettinger offered his Russian and Ukrainian colleagues today to consider October 21 and Berlin as the date and venue of the next trilateral gas meeting, he said.
The spokesman added that the date and venue of the upcoming negotiations had yet to be approved by the sides.
