Ukraine's Fuel and energy Minister Yuriy Prodan has unveiled programs to reform Ukrainian energy legislation and the national gas company Naftogaz Ukrainy.
"These reforms, as well as the passed legislative acts, should attract investors so they can successfully conduct gas business in Ukraine and successfully use our infrastructure: mains networks, underground storage facilities," he told journalists in Brussels on Friday after attending a high-level roundtable which focused on investment in Ukraine's gas transportation system (GTS).
At the same time, the minister said that at present it is fairly difficult to attract investors. "Today there is a war," said Prodan, adding that the government is still hoping to attract European partners.
