Kyiv hopes for interim solution in gas conflict with Russia - Yatseniuk
Ukraine hopes to find an interim solution in the gas conflict with Russia, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said.
"We have another challenge - energy. I must inform you that we are looking for an interim solution on the gas issue with Russia. On the one hand, Naftogaz is waiting for an interim solution on a lawsuit lodged with the Stockholm arbitration court, and on the other hand, Brussels today is hosting another round of gas talks," he said at a meeting with representatives of the European Business Association and the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine in Kyiv on Thursday.
"In other words, we have two options: either an interim solution on the lawsuit or interim agreements in Brussels," he added.
