Ukraine imports almost 1 bcm of gas from Europe in September
Ukraine in September 2014 imported 986 million cubic meters (mcm) of natural gas from Europe, PJSC Ukrtransgaz's press service told Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday.
In particular, Ukraine bought 779 mcm of gas from Slovakia, 117 mcm from Poland, and 90 mcm from Hungary.
Total gas imports from Europe in the nine months of 2014 were about 2.2 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas.
As was reported, Ukraine in 2003 imported 2.132 bcm of natural gas from Europe. April through August 2014 gas imports to Ukraine from Europe, namely Hungary and Poland, totaled almost 1.1 bcm.
