Ukrainian, EU delegations to hold bilateral meeting on gas in Brussels on Oct 2 - Prodan
Ukrainian and European Commission delegations are planning to hold a bilateral meeting on gas issues in Brussels on October 2, and a trilateral meeting could be held on Friday, October 3, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Prodan has said.
"There will be a bilateral meeting with the European Commission in Brussels tomorrow [on October 2]. A trilateral meeting could be held on Friday. As for the debts? These are not debts, these are payments. It's not a matter of debts – it's a matter of our payments. We have our own suggestions. A final decision has not been made. There are proposals from the European Commission, and we have our own, quite different proposals," Prodan told reporters in Kyiv on Wednesday.
