NBU decides to point indicative exchange rate for interbank market every day in closed banking information system
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) will every day point out indicative exchange rates to banks, which will differ from the official exchange rate as a reference point for carrying out foreign currency transactions on the interbank currency market.
"The indicative hryvnia exchange rate to foreign currencies is a reference point that banks could take into account during carrying out transactions on the interbank currency market of Ukraine," reads NBU letter to banks No. 24-008/54205.
According to the letter, the NBU will place information on the said exchange rate and the indicative exchange rates for other key foreign currencies with which transactions on the interbank currency market are carried out on its page in the Thomson-Reuters NBU01 information system.
