President fires Head of NCER

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has fired Serhiy Titenko from the position of Head of the National Commission for Energy Regulation (NCER).

The corresponding decree, dated September 24, was published on the president's Web site.

As reported, at the end of August, Ukrainian President signed a decree on the elimination of the NCER and the National Commission for Utility Services Regulation. He also signed another decree on the creation of the National Commission for Energy and Utility Services Regulation and approved its personnel (head and six members of the commission).
