Ukraine in seven months cuts oil transit to Europe by 2.1%
Oil transit through Ukraine to Europe in January-July 2014 decreased by 2.1% (by 190,900 tonnes) compared to the same period in 2013, to 8.725 million tonnes.
According to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, in July oil transit through Ukraine decreased by 10.6% (by 153,400 tonnes) compared to July 2013, to 1.296 million tonnes.
As reported, oil transit to Europe via Ukraine in 2013 increased by 7% (by 1.02 million tonnes) compared to 2012, to 15.577 million tonnes.
