Ukraine buys gas via Slovakia at $320-330 per 1,000 cubic meters
Ukraine is currently purchasing gas through Slovakia for $320-330 per 1,000 cubic meters, Head of Ukrtransgaz Ihor Prokopiv has told journalists in Kyiv.
Prokopiv said that at present it is not profitable for Ukraine to buy gas from Hungary at $400 per 1,000 cubic meters.
Previously he said that Russia succeeded in artificially raising the price of gas on the Hungarian market to $400 per 1,000 cubic meters, which prevents the use at full capacity of the Hungarian route of gas supplies to Ukraine.
