Naftogaz warns of transit risk, suggests Europe buy gas at Ukrainian-Russian border
Naftogaz Ukrainy suggested that European companies buy gas at the Ukrainian-Russian border to avoid the risks that could result in a repeat of the situation in 2009, when transit via Ukraine came to a halt.
"As a dependable transit company, Naftogaz considers it to be its duty to warn European partners about possible risks and suggests solving the problem by joint efforts via three-party negotiations in the Ukraine-EU-Russia format," the company said in a statement.
