Ukraine imports 221 mln cubic meters of gas from Europe in July - Ukrtransgaz
Ukraine imported 221 million cubic meters of natural gas from Europe in July 2014, the press service of the Ukrtransgaz gas transport operator said.
According to preliminary data from the Central Dispatching Department, Poland exported 118 million cubic meters of gas to Ukraine, and Hungary - 103 million cubic meters.
Total gas imports from Russia and Europe were 2.126 billion cubic meters (bcm) in July.
Natural gas imports from Russia and Europe totaled 14.72 bcm in January-July 2014, which was 18.3% more than the 12.446 bcm exported in the 7M of 2013.
Over the seven months of 2014, gas consumption in the country fell by 15%.
