Finance ministry initiates moratorium on checks of business until end of 2014
The Finance Ministry of Ukraine has proposed that all state expenses on all supervision agencies of the country be cut by 70% and a moratorium on checks of business until the end of this year be introduced.
"We propose that all expenses on supervision agencies be cut by 70%, leaving only those employees who issued permits. All the rests are to be sent to vacations without retaining wages… We propose stopping any checks of business until the end of the year in the law," Finance Minister Oleksandr Shlapak said at a meeting of the conciliation board of the heads of the parliamentary factions and committees on Monday.
He said that the exception would be made only for the State Fiscal Service among the supervision agencies.
