Ukrainian prime minister supporting privatization of Ukrspyrt
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk says he supports the idea of privatizing state enterprise Ukrspyrt.
"I believe that Ukrspyrt company should be privatized, as well as other companies that are subjects of corruption and not the development of the country," he said at the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Forum III in Kyiv on Thursday.
"I think that any holdings and other devilishness being created are not efficient companies, which learned only to steal funds received under government guarantee," he said.
As reported, employees of Ukrspyrt held a rally near the government's building demanding to leave the enterprise in state ownership, while producers of liquors and vodka supported the privatization of the enterprise.
